Professor Jasna Mihailovic is the Head of Department of Nuclear Medicine at the Oncology Institute of Vojvodina, Serbia. She is also Full Professor and Chair of Department of Nuclear Medicine, Medical School, University of Novi Sad. She is Past President of Serbian Society of Nuclear Medicine during the mandatory period of 2016 till 2020. At present she is President of Union of Anticancer Societies of Vojvodina. She is a member of Academy of Medical Sciences Serbian Medical Society. As a Full Professor of Research, she serves as a member of the Scientific Board of the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia.

She trained in Nuclear Medicine and specialized in Oncology. She obtained her MSc and PhD degrees from the University of Novi Sad in the imaging of thyroid nodules. Throughout her professional career, she completed fellowships at prestigious nuclear medicine centers worldwide, including in East and West Germany, Australia, Spain, and France. However, the most significant portion of her time was spent in the United States, where she worked for a year at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University.

Panithaya Chareonthaitawee, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She is Director of the Nuclear Cardiology Laboratory, Education Chair, and Diversity Co-Chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is the current President of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and has served as the President of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Cardiovascular Council from 2017-18.  She is the Deputy Editor in Chief of the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology and was an Associate Editor for Circulation Cardiovascular Imaging from 2017 to 2023.  Dr. Chareonthaitawee has served as course faculty and course director for over 100 regional, national and international meetings and has authored or co-authored over 160 scientific manuscripts, abstracts, book chapters, review articles, and editorials.

Dr. Michael C. Kreissl is the Head of the Division of Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital Magdeburg, Otto-von-Guericke University, in Germany. He has significantly contributed to the field of thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer, particularly in the application of nuclear medicine techniques for diagnosis and therapy. As an active member of the Thyroid Committee of European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), head of the thyroid committee of the German Society of Nuclear Medicine (DGN) and Speaker of the Thyroid Section of the German Society of Endocrinology, Dr. Kreissl has co-authored several guidelines and editorials. His research interests encompass the use of (molecular) imaging to differentiate benign from malignant thyroid nodules, but also the management of advanced thyroid cancer, along with theranostics and redifferentiation treatment.

Santiago Andrés Brühlmann received his degree in Nuclear Engineering from Instituto Balseiro (Argentina) in 2021. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from TU Dresden (Germany) in 2024. He carried out his research in the fields of radionuclide production and purification, targetry and target chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. K. Kopka, Dr. M. Walther and Dr. M. Kreller. Laura Melendez Alafort is a health services researcher at the Veneto Institute of Oncology IOV - IRCCS in Padua, Italy. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Medicine from the University of London and a Master of Science in Nuclear Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She has over 25 years of experience in radiopharmaceutical science and her research interests focus on the development of new radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Her work also includes preclinical, radiopharmacokinetic and dosimetric studies.

Dr. Maharaj is the current Secretary of the World Association of Radiopharmaceutical & Molecular Therapy (WARMTH), 2024-2025. She is also a member and facilitator of the BRICS Nations Nuclear Medicine Working Group (NMWG), which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and more recently Egypt, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Iran.

Dr. Maharaj leads a critical radionuclide therapeutic initiative across Africa. As part of a joint task force with NTP Radioisotopes, AEC Amersham, and Umhlanga Molecular Therapy and Imaging (UMIT)—where she serves as head—she is focused on training and establishing therapeutic centers across the continent. The initiative was successfully launched in Accra, Ghana, in May 2023, and in December 2024, she performed the first Lutetium cancer treatments in Lagos, Nigeria.

 Dr. Maharaj heads Imaging and Therapy Centres in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria.
